Upland bird hunting is my favorite type of hunting. My Husband and I also own a Brittany Spaniel, aka “bird dog”, who LOVES and is literally bred for this kind of hunting. You enjoy a beautiful sunrise with your family and get to watch your dog do its favorite thing in the whole world. Can’t beat it. The pheasant in my opinion is the most beautiful prize bird in the field. Their feathers are long and colorful and they are graceful in everything they do. For such a large game bird they are super fast. Their ascend happens quick so you have to pay attention.
